On Any Sunday..... Australian style!

And a bit of info from Hurley Wilvert.....

Here’s a link to a good MC video I got from one of my Australian friends. The beginning at the 30 sec. mark will interest most of you. Following that there’s a shot of my friend Murray riding a Kawasaki F9 on the beach with his wife on the back. She’s not the one at the 30 sec. shot.

At about 43 min. there’s some video of a race in Australia that’s as big there as Daytona is here, Bathurst. It’s on public road which makes it very interesting. I raced there on my TZ700 in 1975 or 76 and crashed in practice hitting one of the ARMCO barriers you see. Look at the shots on the straight; TZ750s doing wheelies at 170 mph!

Later on there is video of their 6 hr. production race at a track called Amaroo near Sydney. The interesting part is the LeMans start near minute 54. I know Tracy will love it. I raced there the year after this video; teamed with Warren Willing on a Kawasaki H2. We had the same luck that he had in the video.

Lastly (1 hr. 10 min.) there is footage of the AMA National at Ontario in 1975. I’m in there a few spots only briefly.

Hope you like it.

Hurley
