Woke up, started my normal routine of shipping, first item is going to "Andy" at Camp Leatherneck Afghanistan -

What a reality check......

God Bless America and our troops

Hopefully it arrives promptly and "Andy" is OK

I just left Leatherneck less then two weeks ago, I was there for three months, and went to Lagman where were attacked three times since I was there. I'm now in the city of Qalat. Things are quiet here. Lets hope it stays that way. I talked with my friends at Leatherneck today. Things are doing better. There are still some people missing that they are trying to account for though. Keep the prayers coming. We can use them.

Well gentlemen as much as I'd like to claim I'm over here fighting the war with our couragious soldiers, I can't. I'm civilian contractor working as a paramedic here. I thank the men and women here everyday. They look at me kind of weird because I'm here with them, but I have a choice. They really don't.

My hat is off to you as well as to all of the courageous men & women fighting
for us over there.
My new son-in-law just got his orders to deploy to Afghanistan next June.
I really hope things will change for the better by then.

Prayers & thanks....

Well today we lost four US soldiers in the province I'm in. Once again it was green on blue. Moral took a hit today and people are touchy. Hard to trust the people you are sitting and eating dinner with.
