Rupp Roadster - my dad stealing a ride, we had a lake house in southern Indiana with acres of trails - a kids dream. On the left is our shepherd Sheryl who loved to chase my a$$. A year later, I graduated to a brand new yellow SL70 with money earned from a paper route and a generous contribution from Dad (damn I miss him so much) - best XMAS gift ever, I was "king" of the dirt, or so I thought

I only said it Cody because my neighbour had a xr80...
I could eat him up in acceleration and top speed... Top end was about 55 mph as shown my my ole man's half ton.
Funny thing is, I got in more trouble with that bike than any other that I've owned.
I only stopped once for the cops for riding the roads... After that $hit storm, I always made a point to lose them instead of giving up... I was way out in the country though... Tough for a cruiser to do 55 on old washed out roads.
Only to be 12 again! 8-)

55mph is flying! You win... 8mph is a BIG difference

I see a LOT of "Paper Route" purchases... too funny.

Me and my brother had a honda 70 3 wheeler when i was 5, and rode my dad's honda 70 trail bike...

But the first bike i called my own was a 75 Yamaha DT175. Been a 2 stroke junky ever since.
