If you will be at Deals Gap, Deb and I will be camping in our travel trailer about 25+ miles east in Almond NC. We will be at Tumblin Waters Campground, and Lord willing we will be there a week before the Triples Meet and staying through the meet.

The road between the Gap and Tumbin Waters is great (Highway 28) and you can catch a trout when you stop by. We will have the coffee pot on. We should be there quite a bit, but we could be out riding. Joe Byrd

I'll be at Fontana this year with my son. When's dinner?

Usually about 5:00, we can catch trout and grill 'em fresh out of the pond!

You mean those nasty cold water grinnell?

If you like trout fishing you need to swing by my neck of the woods for a week or two.

Joe- same spot as before? Just off Hwy 74 after getting off Hwy 28? May plan first ride to your place after early Sunday a.m. arrival. Look forward to seeing you!

Pick me up on the way by Fontana. I'm sure Joe's camping neighbors would appreciate our smoky and loud arrival for Sunday brunch.

Evans, we have been at this campground for a couple of years, it is; Southeast on 28, (opposite of the dragon) for about 27 miles of one of the nicest rides, then right in Panther Creek Road.

Follow Panther Creek Road for a couple of miles, can't miss campground.

Church service on Sunday mornings, always meaningful. I'll have my guitar, you can probably add to the meeting!

Yes, I remember that location! Thanks for the directions again. What time is the Sunday a.m. service?
