Here's a link to a 69 H1 that has just come up for sale on our local version of ebay. Check out the price: $0 or nearest offer. I have of course offered him $1, which in my book is the nearest to $0 8-) . Am awaiting confirmation of the sale to me

I'd offer him just a "bit" more... :P That's actually a very nice restoration IMO. Go and get it Mike!!!

That $0 suddenly looks like $12,000 - Nice bike, but....

Hmmm ... clearly he didn't think much of my offer :( He's obviously decided he didn't want to deal with more crackpots like me and changed the ad. That's not the dearest on there. There has been a later model H2 for a 19.5K asking price :o - but with no takers to date.

If I had that bike, Id hate to take it out of the garage, it may get dirty.

Very nice looking bike for sure.

The good news is that 12,000 New Zealand Dollars = 10,238.64 US Dollars at the moment.

The purpose of this one is for admiring. You need another one for riding.

If you just want to admire it, it doesn't need the engine internals, working carbs, instruments, etc.. New niche market: Bikes to look at, that don't actually work.
