I remember from "the old board" that Harley has an engine paint (spray can) that matches well and is gas/oil resistant. That's what I plan to use on my S2 engine.

Does anyone have a paint that closely matches the silver/grey of the engine covers. It appears to be the same color as the ears that hold the headlight on my 69. Something fuel oil resistant preferably |

I took one of the covers off my H1A into the local paint store. They matched it in a day and it came out great - to the point others have now done the same thing. |

I used it on my s2.. sat the stator cover right beside a nos one I have.. very hard to tell color difference... |
