Purchased a KZ 750 kicker off ebay
crisis adverted

I had a guy send parts for bushing work and I received an empty package. I need to find a H2 kick starter to replace what the post office lost.

If you can help out, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

The guy didn't insure the package?

Not any extra, just the $50 that comes with priority mail.

I have heard others state that USPS insurance is pretty much a scam, making you jump through hoops, and even after you've provided every bit of shipping evidence possible, they may still make up a reason to deny your request. I just keep my fingers crossed when shipping, and over pack/over pad and tape the poop out of the outside of the box.

same happened on a delivery to me - strange as it is you could see where the box was opened and some parts removed (not all) and then resealed and it continued on its way... USPS has a rap of this happening all the time of late. not good mav.

I may have the parts to piece one together but it would need to be chromed.

The kicker was probabaly "loosely" thrown in a box that is too big...allowing it to rattle around, and then poke through when it was being tossed around on its journey. I've received a few empty boxes over the years where this was the case.

USPS insurance has been fine for me, but I've developed a relationship with the post master at my local office. All carriers SUCK, but nobody sucks as bad as UPS.

Even if the humans involved are as gentle as possible the mechanization of sorting centres treats things fairly roughly.
I always pack things for the worst case scenario. Another thing especially for international postage is to always use new boxes and packing materials - I had a parcel from Canada delayed by two months because it was in a box from their mint, and had one delayed from here because it had a suspicious odor.

I'm sure Jeff will find a kickstart closer but if you are SOL give me a yell.

VERY stand up of you to make this right for the customer, even though not your fault. I was planning to send both shifter and kicker to you but too many irons in the fire before Deals Gap. So it will have to wait until afterward...
