A restorable 73 H2 showed up on the CVMG web site this morning. The seller has a motorcycle business and buys and sells quite a few vintage bikes. Here's his info.

I've dealt with George several times in recent Years, I'd heard about a H2a for sale in Toronto for $3,000, I was heading there anyway to buy some expensive junk off George, I paid George, went for a meal then called the seller who told me that he had JUST sold it to a guy for $2,800 :banghead :banghead . . . George phoned me later that afternoon and asked if I was interested in an original H2a for . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $7,500!

Not much chance he'll get that here in Canada, but you never know. ($2800 was a decent price for that bike) Most of the stuff I've seen him put up for sale has been reasonably priced. Maybe he's hoping that someone from the States will come up here and buy it.

originally that bike was for sale just down the road from me in Trenton. It seems George must have saw the ad when it first went up..Motor already rebuilt years ago. never put back in the frame. the original price was indeed $3000

Sounds like George has quite the reputation! Am I the only guy that doesn't know him on a first name basis?
This isn't the same guy that was at the Toronto bike show 2 years ago trying to sell a ratty 72 H2 is it?
I was unwitting enough to say the guy was a moron if he thinks he is going get his price for this turd! Then Jim pointed out the man on the other side of the bike was the seller... Damn, I said it loud enough for his benefit!
Mildly embarrassing but he pretended not to hear me.

I did phone asking if this was the Bike from Trenton..Christ i don't know I deal all the time..I thought really you don't even know where the bike came from..So what's the asking price..$8,500 firm..Hmmm 8500 right..yes and I can sell in the US for $12000. I Know what the value is !..Well he continues to tell me he has sold his h2's for $$$..I thought..That junk..Ok..lol
My thoughts maybe his price would have been more realistic at $5500/6000..The bike is NOT worth $8500.
