This "technology" ISN'T new, not by a long shot. Non-symmetrical throttle bores and flat side needles have been in development for many decades.

I will agree the pricing for the billet models is pretty up there. The cast versions on the other hand are not that bad considering what a performance 4 stroke carb in the dirt bike world will run you which seems like that is the market they are targeting. http://store.powerapt.com/prod_display.php?prod_ref=17.

You could almost buy 3 Mikuni carbs for the price of one cast carb. It's just a updated Lectron copy. IMHO, a pain in the butt on the street.
