How fast did he go? Did I miss that part?

I have the Movie -- The World's Fastest Indiana http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0412080/ on my list on Netflix. I am really looking forward to it.

Thanks for posting to remind me to watch it.

Have it on DVD - brought it to the GAP two years ago. Watch it VERY regularly. One of the best movies ever!

This could almost be a triple quote:
Warren: Jeez, last seen springs on motorcycle had to be in the 1920s.
Burt Munro: Well, she's 42 years old.
Warren: These brakes, they're completely inadequate.
Burt Munro: I'm planning on going, not stopping.

This is a great tribute commercial, but not really a record run kind of thing. He wasn't going a lot faster than the camera truck.

Burt was a true fix anything.......#8 wire mentality Kiwi which we used to pride ourselves on here in NZ. it seems most of us have lost that skill.
Now all the young ones can do is bolt on blow off turbos, big bore pipes and that's about it. As well as downing herbal highs.

It looked to me like they were on a dry lake bed and not Bonneville, the bike was bouncing around a lot in some of the shots. If it makes similar HP to a Victory it should go at least 150 mph
