400trip...
I have owned my 400 since 1985, bought for just $550, 9000 miles, blue and green, complete with 2 sets of Bilstein shocks and a battery trickle charger that still works (even after my pissed-off cat chewed it up).
It's been through alot of changes, paint jobs, rebuilt it from the ground up, once...
Still love it!!
Great to be at the new board!
The 400 hasn't run for two years, non oped (the ten year old battery finally failed! Batteries last forever on a triple with points!) but now Im inspired to pay the $50.00 and get it running again this summer!
I hope to see you on PCH!

Thank You, Lisa!
I thought about trading up a few times, but I always thought to myself that I would miss it too much!

Hey Chris, regarding your sig, I turned that same attitude around on a punk at the local dealership. I pulled up on my H1-E, he said "So you've come to trade that old thing in have you?" I said "I would, but I don't see any 3 bikes here I want!"

Sure heard that!
I even mounted my last set of tires and balanced them, too!!
My thanks to you too, Mraxl,
This is gonna be a great site!
I usually ride with some squids at my work, we have a tradition called the Friday Grand Prix, where we all ride our bikes on friday, and go to lunch together...they all have gsxrs, r1s, etc... they swap bikes with me sometimes, and comment on how my bike is constantly pulling wheelies!
(it's usually just a long dragrace down PCH, I walked a cafe 550 four once!)
Anyway, I love to tell the guys that I have never changed my engine oil on my 400, I just keep adding it when it gets low.
You should see the looks of disqust I get from the new guys!!!
