  Hey all, I was at an antique book and post card show recently and found this old card from Daytona Speedway. Judging by the blue smoke in the background, I would say two strokes still ruled!! Looks like they started in two groups. Anyone have any rememberances or know if Kawasaki was represented back than ? |

That was most likely the start of the '82 race ( won by Graeme CROSBY (NZL), Yamaha) but Kenny Roberts won on a Yamaha in '83. |

I think you're probably right. I seem to rember a time when sending a post card was the thing to do but they were'nt always that fresh.
