My Classic Japanese Motorcycle Group has just held its third show - we try to do them every two years (earthquakes permitting  ). It was a one day event and proved popular with the public. The venue was buzzing all day and the guys had a great time yarning to the visitors about the machines. The most unusual bike we had was entered by an 85 year old chap - a 1959 Lilac 125 cc, shaft drive V-twin. Here are just a few pics from the 92 bikes entered:

I had a bloody great day there mike. Many beautiful bikes there for such a small isolated town of around 350,000. Maybe one day my crappy D will make the show. Sorry Mike, but i cant help myself (ive had beer) but i couldnt help but notice youve removed the oil blotting paper that was sitting under your leaky gear change shaft oil seal. Sorry mate.
Thats Mikes blue H1A 5th pic down. Very very nice bike.
Im wrapped the H1R got best in show, although i picked the RZ500 myself (it was mint, what a complicated difficult expensive machine to make mint)
The H1R was not technically the best restoration there although it was beautifully done.(better watch what i say here) But its legendary reputation or natural beauty obviously brought it through as top dog.
Nice....
And its the same colour as mine

Very nice pictures. I am sure we all have ones that have special meaning. The blue Honda CL175 is it for me because that was my first bike (except mine was sort of a burnt orange). In all of the shows and museums I've been to, I've never seen one. I do not think they are rare, I've just not seen one in many years. Thanks for the memories!

Nice pics and a great collection of bikes!

This is the bike I had in highschool, same color and everything. I really wanted a four cylinder back then, or an RD!

My brother had one of these which I got to ride some.
