So this bike call comes in off the website. its an old Honda she says. She mails me a picture of this bike laying on its side in a pile of garbage. and another laying in similar trash in same garage, house hold trash everywhere, its obvious it was covered 3 foot deep in trash recently. Its a long ways from me but I see its a gold mine, you look you will see why.
So I told her I cant do it right now, to be fair I would love to give her $500 for both, but its worth a lot more. I told her the value of the parts, and appraised it at $2250.
All she had to do was wash it and take good pictures. Well the "man" is to damn lazy to wash it. She wont either. Rock is all they want. She calls me back 2 days later... she listed it on Craigslist.
nobody wanted to look at it... she listed it in the same garbage heap, laying on its side.
I tried again, I told her she would make 300 dollars an hour by washing it.
The lazy puke old man hauled it to 3 scrap yards. none would take it.
A guy I know called her and dragged it and a parts bike out of there for 500 bucks. I will post what's all in this bike tomorrow, you guys guess if you care to.
I don't always fight for the dollar in this game. I should have gone and got it. But I tried to help her, she said they were broke. anyway................... all he did was wash it.

I see a super charger and maybe CR carbs. Looks like nice wheels too. A good score for sure.

When you say "rock" assume drugs - so sad :(

Yep good parts all around OR possibly some kind of charger based on what I see. Usable parts abound either way.

its a professional drag bike with a dumpy seat set on it for the pictures. its got alloy rims, adjustable struts, Goodyear racing eagles screwed in, box extended swing arm, 5 foot wheelie bar not shown. VM smothbores, steering dampener, some pieces from the nitrous set left, it got sold. Its probably got an RC engineering built crank with Gold rods, 903? cc, we know its got an ARD Magneto, ported and polished head, cut for a mega-camshaft, with a valve cover stud girdle conversion, wide open 4 into 1, back cut gears, and an external start drive on the left.
this is a 10 second bike as it sets and it runs.

Looks like this drag bike class had to have a headlight to be legal. Turning it around actually makes them more aerodynamic.
