I make and sell this stuff-work in more than 25 major museums. I make and sell the specialty tools I use, and travel to demonstrate and teach woodturning/carving around the world. Currently in Bogota, Colombia teaching at an art school-in my third week and about ready to be home. :)

In the early seventies, I worked for a new Kaw dealer.

This is pretty cool guys! Keep em coming! I didn't go back to High school, but I was a paperboy, and worked at a putting course also.

And also a short stint selling New cars in Pittsburgh.

And Ric, being ADD, I get bored pretty easy, and liked trying, and learning new things. So, I ended up doing a lot of things. I also work better when I'm the boss........LOL.

Was a certified cotton warehouseman in early adulthood, oyster shucker, then Mental Health Counselor working with both adults and children, guitarist in multiple bands gigging out for many years, Medical Social Worker in a children's special needs unit, and present job as a Health Services Program Manger in District Public Health. Full service retirement coming up quickly from last and current job! I think I'll cut a few yards mowing (fleet of 5 self propelled mowers all 2 cycle!) on my own after that.... ;)

I'll add the early years.

8-10 Paper route (two routes actually - morning Chronicle for you Bay Area folks). Other papers too - throw away. Stuffed envelopes - anything for a buck.
11-12 Worked part-time at my Stepfathers sponsor machine shop (Jim Bromular in Pacifica). Painted houses, cleaned houses and yards - basic stuff today known as flipping property.
13-14 Dishwasher, bus boy, short order cook/night assistant manager (I was living on my own at 14 and had court papers saying it was OK).
15 Courts made me an emancipated minor - an adult but I still could not drive (hence running from the cops all the time on my DT250).
15-17 American Sunroof (T-tops, Moon Roofs etc), Installed car stereo's (auto sound specialists San Carlos). Cleaned Carpets as a contractor.
17 Went to work for Western Union Telegraph - the rest is history.

I did that too at age 11.... it's a shame the younger generations don't even know what a paperboy was.
