I am looking for the smaller version ,
Everything I have seen is too big .
About the size of your hand would be ideal .
Maybe modifying is the way to go
Thanks Husson for the input

Have you seen the sliders I made? They're 1.25" 6061 aluminum bar with 2 inch PVC caps pressed on the ends. A 1/2" bolt goes through the engine mounts into threaded holes in the aluminum bar.

Hi jim, I remember you made those now. Do you think that it might bend where you mount the at the triangle . A lot of bending force concentrated inline spot.
I think two or three mounting points would spread the load more evenly .
I might look into some 1/2 or 5/8 tit or stainless bar or tube and fab some up.
Depends on what I can find
Cheers mark

I have one for an S3, like new, that was on a bike I bought. It mounts to the horn mount on top and the unused frame tabs at the bottom.

If it hits a solid object like a curb, something will bend or break, of course. The idea of the sliders is to protect the engine parts, maybe the chambers, etc., in a sliding crash. I think 1.25" solid 6061-T6 will not bend in a sliding situation, and the little triangular engine mounts are pretty tough. They're also easy to make if the originals get messed up.

I'm not trying to talk you into them, however... too much responsibility.

Get with the program Jim!!! Sliders are supposed to be made of magnesium to insure an impressive slide and to ignite the gas that has spilled.
