I am wondering what aftermarket coils I should run on my 72 rebuild. Is this something that I could get from starfire? Thanks RB |

Thanks RB I dont do coils, but I suggest you look at the cheap and small moped coils from China. These are great and run on almost all CDI bikes. Strange....you also live in NJ...just posted a CDI unit there yesterday....(Wharton). Even looked it up on google earth..didnt have any idea where NJ was, what a big country america is.!! ![]() |

What '72 are you rebuilding? I did some testing of H2 coils in this old thread: http://www.kawasakitriplesworldwide.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=53001 Generally, the ones that Starfire recommended ^ are the smallest, cheapest ones, and work fine if not enclosed without air flow. The approx. $100 black reproduction H2 coils fit without any modifications or brackets, and the Dynatek DC9-4 coils made slightly better sparks than stock. |

Jim, its a H2, apologies for the omission:) Generally, the ones that Starfire recommended ^ are the smallest, cheapest ones, and work fine if not enclosed without air flow.
