Whatever setting is required to allow cookies. The specific way to do it depends on what browser you are using, and as well, the version of that browser.

what are you using IE, FireFox, Chrome etc
I use Firefox and Chrome

Whatsa cookie ??
A cookie is code that a website sets in your browser to identify you from other users

My computer skills are very limited but I can surf porn with the best of em
Sometimes surfing porn is the cause of a problem as a lot of those sites set malicious cookies, viruses and such

Barry, you're quicker than me...

Sorry Dale - I knew you'd chime in. If greg gets really stuck I'm happy to do a WebEx and see exactly what he's doing. I had a problem with my DROID browsing - especially my favorite forum and had to login manually - was a PITA until I figured it out. PC's - I run all three browsers on Win-7 Ultimate, Vista Business, XP versions including Home and Pro. I even have an old version of ME and 98SE floating around too. I doubt he's using any linux so no reason to go there.

I've had the issue come up every once in a while. I delete the specific cookie (user@kawi2strokes.com), rather than cleaning the whole cache in IE, and the login works again. My Iphone has never had a problem. you can clear the IPhone's cache in settings>safari.

It is rather odd that this site is the only one that seems to experience these problems. I'm wondering if it's something being written in the cookie by the server creating the problem. :eh:

Greg, this comes up often, Dale might even have a knowledge base (KB) of answers already - BUT -

Depending on your version of Internet Explorer (if this is what you're using to surf the internet with) - use this:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/196955

If you're using Mozilla FireFox use this:

http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Enabling%20and%20disabling%20cookies

If these don't work and you get really stuck - PM me and we'll talk on the phone, maybe do a webex so I can walk you through it all that way.

bb

I will try the first supprt.microsoft see what happens. You guys might as well be specking egyption .I have no idea

Please let me deviate from the login problem (of which is not an issue for me) to my problem. I no longer get email notices of post respondses or PM's. I use to get the notices. I've checked my profile and I'm set up to have the notices sent, I've checked my trash emails but do not see any emails from kawa2strokes, and I've checked my subscriptions and all the posts are listed that should be listed.

Any ideals what my problem is ;) :)

What email are you using (Yahoo, Gmail or an Outlook variant)? Also if you have another email account to use, change the board listing to that and see if that email account works.

You're running some kind of antivirus - advise on that too - but doubt that's it if you're using web based email (yahoo, google etc)/bb
