There is a guy over here in the UK who is making a V6 out of two KH250 motors:

If you want to read his entire thread you can get it here on the UK Tripkes board:http://kawaportal.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2647&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

If you read it you will see that another guy over here has already done and completed his to a very high standard.

thanks for that,
i was kicking this idea around at work with another guy,
but thats not the way we thinking of doing it.
but after considering the lack of space we came to the conclusion it was too much work.
cheers mark

Tue one I have designed will be an under/over twin crank design, V6, case reed in the front of the cases, in the "V", liquid cooled, with 3 pipes out the bottom, 3 out the top, much like the Yamaha YSR500 V4, only in a 6 cylinder setup. My setup will run one crank forward, the other crank "backward", single primary gear per crank, no idler gear.

If I were to build a "square 4" design 6 like this one in the pictures, I'd have rotary valved it (I rode a Bridgrestone prototype just before BS stopped building bikes, that had a triple cylinder 550 cc engine, with 3 rotary valves, with the 3 intakes routing from the cases out the rear of the engine, somewhat like the intakes on a Can-Am single engine. The center intake route was cast into the cases, and thr valve was two pieve, snap ring'd yto the crank center.

The BS was very fast for its time, but had "H1 DRUM FRONT BRAKE NO STOP"-itis.

There was another V6 cylinder KH or S done in the UK. I remember reading an article on it in one of the UK classic magazines.

That is very cool. One of these days I hope to experiment more. Maybe a banshee cylinder on my vespa. For now I would be happy with three cylinders that run :D
