Hello, are factory '73 H2 mufflers stamped with part numbers, and if so...where? Reason to ask, I just bought a set, and I see no stampings. But hey don't seem to be aftermarket they are very thick steel, and good chrome. Just wondering?!

No stamping. The downpipes are stamped "H2" at the exit end.

There were some photos posted once (maybe JP?) that showed the baffle where it inserts into the pipe -- it didn't look great and certainly wasn't true to OEM, but other than that I hear that they are difficult to distinguish from original.

you can see also on these picture there is on the outside wall in the pipe on which is fit the baffle some kind of (grey) glue all around it, you don't see in original pipe.
