H1Pete was kind enough to sell me a set of old H1 aluminum adapter plates with the offset holes for mounting regular rubber intake manifolds on the H1. I thought the H2 intakes would fit them but they are too wide for the pattern on the plates which is understandable since the stock H2 manifld pattern would be way too wide to get 3 side by side on the H1. I've stumbled across sites selling intakes of various sizes that had diagrams of the critical measurements but it's been a while. Can anyone steer towards one? I'd like to play around with these.

Steve, it's my recollection that the standard ones that Sudco sells have the narrower hole spacing you need. Check the specs in their catalog for the rubber "spigot mount" adapters that fit your carbs... I bet the hole spacing will match your aluminum adapters plates. You should also have a choice of straight or angled type.

In case anyone is ever doing a search and needs the info I found it here: http://www.motorcyclecarbs.com/Carburetor_Holder_Mounting_Dim_W288C710.cfm. Warning though, they are NOT cheap. About $30 each. Sudco had a great selection but no sizing diagram that I could find.

The Sudco catalog has the sizing. The manifold just needs to be slotted, as the kawi spacing is a bit off. But like Jim said, the adaptor might of compensated.
