Post subject:  opinions on Bring a Trailer

Has anyone here used Bring a Trailer? Thoughts on it whether Pro or Con. I have always used Craigslist when selling except for a couple that went on eBay. Looking to get rid of either my 72 H2 or 73 H2a. Prices look a lot higher with them but so does the headache. Not sure I want to use them at this point so looking for opinions. Thanks

I have been watching BAT for some time. I haven’t listed anything there yet.
My opinion is that you will probably get more there than most other places.
I think that the market is down from where it was this time last year.
I’m considering listing one of my bikes on there later this year.
The only thing that I don’t care for, is that all the experts can post their comments and turn things negative quickly. ( hinged frames, terrible brakes, wheelies in every gear, my friend had one… , horn upside down, etc.)
It seems that most comments are by the uninformed and folklore believers.
I will have a reserve, if it doesn’t sell, then that’s okay.

The funny thing is how many H2s are around with upside down horns. If you do a Google Images search they're all over the place.

Bunch of ridiculous comments, especially guy about the 1100 triple that came after the h2. Definitely some of them uninformed. I plan on going with a reserve if I decide to go with them myself

Mecum is having a big motorcycle auction Jan. 24-27th, might get good idea of where the prices are now.
