Can anyone clarify the differences in the above mentioned stators?

The CDI's are also different as to AC or DC. Was it DC up to 1971?


UPDATE: It has been a long time since I examined these stock parts. I think it's mostly clear now. EXCEPT the schematics show a change from a 2 coil hi/lo speed coil at 5/200 ohms to a single 116 ohm coil.


I am putting the packaging on optical triggered Zeeltronic CDI and found dimensional differences in the H2 vs. H1E+ stator heights. 21.0 vs. 16.5mm.
This is important for my trigger wheel spacer to center the trig. wheel on the pick-ups.
