G'Day fellow 2strokers
This could easily be a long story but will endeavor to keep it short, back in October I was leading 30 odd classic/vintage motorcycles on a club ride when I a young teen fail to give way and pulled out of a country side road but instead of braking when they saw me, accelerated trying to get across the road before me but fail miserably, well I'm still recovering, learning to walk again as smashed myself quite badly with broken femur and pelvis and 9 odd broken ribs etc etc and my beloved 70H1 that I fully 100% restored 6 years ago. The bike was written off but I brought it back from the insurance company.
The bike was head on into the side of the car so the front end shoved into the engine directly between the frame down tubes ripping the center exhaust pipe out and flattening it against the engine. Most things are available like Triple clamps, inner tubes and can get my front wheel fully restored as hub etc. only slightly scratched. BUT the fender/mudguard and fender stays are totally munted as it crushed the center pipe flat (I have spare barrels heads, exhaust headers etc. so that's not a problem)
What I'm having trouble with is not finding a front fender, So, would there be anyone out there in the triple world know were I can get my hands on a Fender and the stays ??
PS I also have a unrestored H1B so I can flog parts off that, like the head light
Cheers Bill

Yes, that's really a bummer. I wish you and your H1 a speedy recovery.
