| Post subject: | Purpose of exhaust smaller clamps on an early H1 |
Hi All - Happy Holidays. Thanks to all of you my 1971 H1 is running great. I have always wondered what was the purpose of the exhaust clamps on an early H1. Not the rubber seal and its housing but the little ring clamp on the header. Thanks for your input. Greg |

It just positions and secures the seal, surely? |
