There was a motorcycle auction in Wisconsin today that brought just crazy high prices.

Check it out:

O'Brien Auctioneers LLC web site

Makes E Bay look like a deal

I spent a minute or two trying to find what you mean on the O'Brien site, but I wasn't able to.

On MSN home page (or any search engine ... bing etc) you type in Obrien Auctioneers and the link to the auction site will come up. There was over 200 motorcycles up for auction with a few triples in the bunch. Triples were the following lot numbers:

29 38 184 192 207 209 214 219 227 230 233 234

Prices were crazy

A 75 H2 (stock) went for 17,500 Lot part number 234
A stock 72 H1 went for 7100 Lot part number 227
A stock 70 H1 went for 7200 Lot part number 230

Some examples of pricing. These were not restored bikes ....

Most of the triples were about 2X what should be reasonable.. most needed a ton of work.. some were just pure garbage.

Mach IV Motors strikes again. They run a salvage yard up there and Monkey lips grips sells on eBay!

Is Ebay still where it's at for selling complete bikes? I know Craigslist has gotten creamed by Facebook Marketplace.
