I’m having some work done on a non triple. I found out that my very young mechanic just bought a 70 or 71 blue 500 triple. It is somewhat of a barn find. It’s all there and it looks pretty good. he paid 600.00. Of course I’m excited now because nobody else around these parts has a triple anything. I have a new friend. He plans to restore it and It needs everything. He’s excited about it as I’m encouraging him to get moving on getting it on the road. I’ve given him the link to this site but has procrastinated in signing up because he is so busy working on everything else including Harley’s. The engine is seized so it will need pistons, rods, bearings crank work etc. Can I get links to some folks and or businesses on this board that can help him with parts etc?
I’ll be showing him my two 72 H2’s soon and would like to give him as much information about parts for his bike as possible.
