Looking at the outer bearing race with the heat line, both H1-R roller, and H2-R ball main bearings had two Teflon bands on the outer area of the outer race, like the heat band, to help stop outer race spinning in the main bearing saddles in the cases. Since those bearings come apart, grooves could be added to the outer race, for specialty Teflon rings. |

Or maybe put a couple tiny drops of Loctite on the outer race during assembly. |

I have to admit that I've been thinking about doing the same in my H1. What's holding me back is the relatively thin outer races in the higher capacity bearings I'm using (ref. previous post). |

P.K., yup them are the ones. Just pull the seals and metal ball guide out, add the Teflon/plastic guides, best of all worlds. I NEVER use Kock-Tite on crankshaft, or other bearings. |
