Hi all, im doing a full restoration of a 1976 kawasaki kh 400 , and was wondering what oil do I put in the engine. Any help much appreciated Thanks.....rich |

The short answer to your question, 80 to 85 weight gear oil, NOT synthetic for the crankcase. Walmart oil is inexpensive and you can buy it in a 1 liter bottle. For the oil injection system, I use Motul 710 sythetic which is available at the moped shop closest to me. Bel-Ray PJ1 is great as well. |
