The H2 750 Mach IV was produced (according to Wikipedia) from 71 to 75. I had a 72 and loved it. But how are the later years? Any reason to avoid a 75?

Looking for my next H2,

Dave

The later H2's were heavier, had a longer wheelbase, and made less power, (whatever people tell you!) I had both, and the earlier bikes were the real deal, for me. Which is not to say you can't build a good late H2, some people would say they are nicer and better balanced. I don't want a H2 to be "nice"! One opinion.

yeah, really, who wants a "nice" bike? Actually I'd take any 750 no matter the year. All donations accepted. ;)

I have had all the years of the 750’s the only thing I didn’t like was the oil lines to the carbs on the 74-75’s A ratty looking 75 that was hanging on the wall in a garage for 20 years sold for $6700 on eBay. So the market is great for sellers not buyers.

If I remember right, Denco required the late cylinders if you wanted them to do a "149 hp" port job.

Actually, I prefer "nice" bikes! I restored a '74 and love it...
