Today I was finally able to go for a 100 miles ride on my redone -72 S2. I finished over 2 years ago, made the mistake of putting 3x6 v coils, changed the alternator and reg couple of times till someone explained me the ohms law.... Then got into an accident which left me with an invalid arm....
I was 17 again like when I picked up my brand new S1, white, grinding from ear to ear, respecting the break in rpms and being overjoyed with the nimbleness and good manners of the engine (Boyer helps!). With my screwed arm I cannot grab the front brake strongly enough so I will install my spare disc fork... Too bad for originality !!
Have to tighten the right head it's leaking a little...

Congrats on your ride! The 1972 S2 is my favorite triple, hands down. I may be biased though as that was my first triple that I got from my dad for my 16th birthday, and I am 34 now...
