A Swedish bike magazine, Allt om MC (everything about Motorcycles), claims that Kawasaki should celebrate its 50 years old brand:

The story says first model for sale under Kawasaki name was B7, a 125 cc in 1961. Model was almost similar with Meihatsu New Ace.
My books are saying the first Kawasakis (with own logo) were introduced in Osaka Export Fair in 1960.

The story says also that Kawasaki is probably waiting for 2013 because Kawasaki and Meguro were merged in 1963.
Silly because K-bikes were for sale already in 1961 in some markets. We got the importer only in -65 and first models in -66.

:?: :?: :?:

Shane, I think the first part refers to methane in some form.

   ! Swedish is not my mother language but I do speak some so let me try:

fart = speed, fyllda = full so I would say speedy - we have no Swedish members ? but Norwegian is very close to Swedish so Ståle may correct me..

It means "years filled with speed" or simply 50 years of speed or 50 speedy years as smokin said.

My mother language is Swedish. I know that this Swedish word is quite funny in English. There are some funny stories :D It's the same word as "Fahrt" in German, which also means speed.

Perhaps that rider is having some difficulty? His sticker should read "farfrompoopin"
