Thank you Demus, I was looking for any how to you tube video for installation and performance reviews on the H2 with Zeltronic. I don't see anything out there. Has any of the board members installed one on an H2 and have any feedback? |

You might also try a PM to "m in sc". He's had extensive experience with them. |

I have that unit and love it. For a performance engine it is a game changer. But remember timing and jetting go together as we all know so it adds another "number" to the combination. I did have some initial problems with the set up caused by my error. Do a site search there is a lot of stuff here. There should be some good timing curves posted if not let me know. I would have to go over the instructions to be able to help with set up but if I can do it anyone can! viewtopic.php?f=14&t=10119&hilit=zeeltronic&start=10 look on page 14 of this thread hope my drop box pics still work there is a pic of how I did my rotor : viewtopic.php?f=16&t=7046&hilit=zeeltronic+rotor&start=130 If you put it on don't turn your trigger/ signal plate to get the proper advance. Pull the rotor and drill another slot and advance the rotor its much easier IMHO. You need to get the static angle and the max timing you will run further apart than what can be achieved by turning the plate, otherwise what happens sometimes is you will end up with a slight hic-up that's can be a bit infuriating. Thats when you know you need more static angle advance. For example if your static angle is set at 24 or 25 deg and you try to run 23.5 or higher it can cause the weird hic-up sometimes. By changing the advance using the new rotor slot you can get 35, 40 or even a touch more static angle (no more than 45 static is what I have read on the Aprila forums the units dont like too much either) and running the timing advanced at low rpm up to 25-27deg (more may make to much heat if you stay at that rpm and advance to long) really gives it a good shot. and then backing it down at 7500 or higher give you good over rev and no detno. Anyway being able to just the curve is a big advantage. |
