Idle curiosity because I don't need them (yet) but are there any (modern) equivalents to the 21152-004 and 21152-005 pickups for the H1F?

On a side note, does the H1F use the wasted spark principle? If not, how do you get 3 sparks from 2 pick ups?

I'm not aware of any new replacement pickups. Fortunately they rarely fail.

You can read about the late H1 ignition system in the Kawasaki shop manual, available on the resource site. http://www.kawatriple.com
It's not a wasted spark system. It uses some carbon brushes and conductive segments in the alternator to ground the coils one at a time to act as a low voltage distributor.
