What Jeff has accomplished with the tank and seat, along with the rest of the bike, is capture the essence of an old school, dare to be different custom/cafe bike from the late '60's/early '70's. It also has a touch of early Italian sport bike custom influence in it as well.
Back then, not many people did things like this, and the only real "custom" tank/seat combo was the one piece tank/side covers/seat of the Cobra body, and they didn't do much for me in the appearance department.
Jeff did a great job on this bike, it is really nice, and it all works together very nicely. Well done!
Just goes to show, there are a lot of parts from other brands and models that work well when altered to fit our bikes.
