Ran a few errands on the H2 today, weather - a perfect Colorado 84 degrees (in October!), air density high etc - man the triple just sang! Winding the engine and trying NOT to through the first couple of gears - but it's HARD not too when it's running this good so I did a few - just a few :shh:

Just a break, nothing special.

Barry, I've done that a couple times recently... going to the Post Office, visiting a friend, etc.. This fall weather here is the best of the year for riding. And I understand exactly what you mean about thinking you're going to behave. On my last ride I was a couple miles from home, made a left turn at a stop sign, and to my complete surprise, my right hand twisted the throttle into a nice wheelie, I shifted and opened it up again, and had to brake because I was doing 70 in a 45 zone.

:D

(funny that your chambers look chromed in that photo)

Wanted to take the H1 for its final ride yesterday but it was freezing - literaly!
Whish we had some more of that weather! Skin is still peeling from 2 weeks ago after just 30 minutes in the Texas sun!
How does one spell envious!

Sometimes everything is just right and the motor sings!

Haven't I heard RB and Bill Baxter say this occurs right before the lock up? :o

I did notice this effect with a big V8 once, running better than ever just before the "bang".

I know this too Jim but did not want to mention it. But as some of you know, if mine blows up I'll just fix it - I don't care :e11

This is the key to avoiding problems in the first place.
