Thunder Products (as far as I know) was the first company producing UFO's. They can be purchased on the Thunder Products website, on e-bay or from Niche Cycle. The price is about the same all around. A board member was producing them for awhile then he stopped. He said it was "high effort and low appreciation". UFO's often require some adjustment (trimming) for a perfect fit and there were too many complaints. There's a guy named Peter McGuiness on FB producing them now. He lives in the UK. I inquired about ordering a set for VM34's and he said he's only producing UFO's for VM30's. If you want a set for your stock H2 carbs it's worth checking with Peter. You can find him on the Kawasaki Triples Group (FB Worldwide). Buying Peter's set for VM30's might save you a lot of time. A few years ago I bought the Thunder Products set advertised for VM30-34's. They required a lot of trimming to fit VM30 slides. I probably spent 2 hours on each UFO getting the fit right. Peter's UFO's appear to be made from aluminum and appear to be a proper fit straight from the box. I didn't get a price from Peter. Thunder Products UFO's are made of plastic and cost about $35 each plus shipping. |

The 30-34 size carbs all take the same slides, I believe. |

Tried and returned a set of Thunder products ufo's for my VM 38's. Was nothing left in the valleys after filing away enough material so the motor would idle. Ended up with a set of Jim's. Minor sanding to match to the slides. Real happy with them. |
