I am running an H2 on the street currently, with a motor that was ported for the strip. It was set up to make max power at 8,000 with FBG stingers. I installed street J&R's and UNI pods -- it is very streetable, and actually seems to make max power in the 6-7,000 area. Despite the porting, there is plenty of low end grunt. I am running 91 or 93 octane, trying to avoid ethanol. The motor is a bit rich (38mm roundslides), but I'm riding it all over town with no plug fouling or anything like that. Next summer I plan to go out in the country and whack the stingers on to see if the power curve changes.

Do you know what the port timing is? Max power 6-7 sounds like stock.

Don't know Jim.. from what I can tell the cylinders have not been decked and the piston skirts have not been cut. As for max power 6-7,000 (just a guess - butt dyno) I think the pipes are running out of breath..these pipes quit pulling on a stock motor right about red line. I have some California triples (FPP) which I should try.. 8-)
