Gift shopping at Harbor Freight. :D :D

Those blasting cabinets are a great buy. Tie wrap another tube alongside the pickup tube that just sticks up abouve the level of the abrasive-it gets air down at the pickup point and makes a big difference. I use the HF filter/regulator (the big blue one) bolted right to the side of the cabinet. I love this setup.

Next time pick her up a garden gnome. :)

I love my cabinet as well....picked it up cheap during a parking lot sale. I caulked all the seams over because it leaked is my only complaint. What tube did you add?.....I confuse easily and can't wrap my head around what you said you did :P

My latest purchase. NTR, but proud to have bought my first guitar. And it's a Taylor too!

Very cool Chris!! Taylor's are remarkable acoustic guitars. I like your plan to buy once and be done! :D

And hey it IS a 2-stroke! First one lasted 5 abusive summers so I bought a new exact same powerhead. All my attachments are holding up. Pretty impressive for 26cc. Must be some serious noise ordinances cause the new ones is a LOT quieter than the old one (even when it was new it was very loud). This thing barely burps. Seems to be a wee bit less power too. Probably as a result of the exhaust which I may swap out

That's a great tip! Good thinking. I've got the same cabinet. I'm going to go try that out tonight!

Just put it on my '08 Connie today and man does it sound sweeeeet.
Easily a 500-600 buck setup with the pipe and can. Got it for 247 at evil bay and it didnt even smell like exhaust. In perfectly new condition.
15 minute install I was told. Took me about that long too.
Now the 1/2 hour to get the stock pipes off is another story.
The bolt for the clamp to the headers was heated and rusted on.
A little Kroil and some elbow grease finally did the trick.

So you're saying to run another tube along side the feeder tube to let air get down into the media?
I have had that same cabinet for a few years and my biggest complaint is that the media has to be shaken down now and then by smacking the sides of the trough or shaking the cabinet.
This will help that problem?

Yes, that works. You have suction from the abrasive intake and the extra tubing helps the abrasive from being "solid".
