I have as many neighbors as you probably Tim. ;-)
Rural America is a great place to air a triple out too.
I was actually considering an H1 motor.
After getting her home last night, a restoration comes to mind.
Anyone have any info on these anti-dive front forks?
Assist line from the brake caliper feed goes to a fitting on the lower fork sections???
Supposedly it delivers more pressure to stop diving when the front brake is hit hard?
New item to me, but I never had one of these before either.
18" front and rear mags with a nice double disc setup.

Worth $150 ? ? ? ?

You see a lot of dragsters blocking off the spokes like that or a full cover to the hub.
It cuts down on drag (no pun) I imagine.

would like to find some vintage clip on's for handle bars and maybe some rear pegs with shifter to make it look correct.
it had a fearing, headlight, stock gauge package (not hooked up) and a set of regular low handle bars on it when I got it.
looked kinda cool but not right.

Doesn't the blue disc give you a bit more time to not break the beam when you are starting the run.... I am NOT a dragracer, so don't laugh!!

Steve, that is an ultra rare Turbo 750....it needs to be restored! It looks like a lot of parts are missing, but someone out there would pay decent money for it. I think, myself, it is a bit too complex and heavy for a H1 engine, but that is just my opinion. I had the same anti-dive front end on my GPZ900r, way back, and while the front end worked fine, I thought the anti-dive system was the answer to a question nobody asked, and Kawasaki only used it for a couple of years!

Joker has the keys and title, so I have not checked it yet for info.
The guy sold it as a 1985 GPz 550 and thats what I think it is.
I have a VIN of sorts from the neck, need to find a DB with info.
I am leaning heavily in to a restoration as I always loved the looks of the GPz bodies.
As for it being a pig and heavy, I dont care.
Its about time to slow down anyway perhaps....

NNAAAHHHHHH

What happens if you block off the assist to the forks???

Now I look at it closer, it does look smaller than the 750, can't recall that model here!! If it's a 550, then it looks like a better candidate for a H1 engine, smaller, lighter etc! Get to work!! :D
