1905 ish Olds Gas Works Engine 5-7 hp. It's pretty much all there except for the fuel cap

Image

Image

Unloading it at Rough & Tumble where it will be displayed
Image

Still has the original paint on it
Image

original Olds decal ( pretty good shape for 111 or so years old )
Image

Serial number B93. Earliest one on the list on the Smok Stak forum making it an early Olds engine. May be dated earlier than 1905, possibly as early as 1900-1902

Yes I am. I have the water jacket for the cylinder, the head and the valve cages home getting cleaned up.

If all goes well, it should be running by early spring.

Image1947 Farmall A with a Woods 6 foot belly mower to replace my worn out ancient Lowes 46 inch cut lawnmower. Comes with service and owners manuals for mower and tractor. NOS steering box and gears just installed. Newly rebuilt generator and starter, NOS seat cover, and a supply of oil filters. NOS headlights, manual lift no hydraulics. Also has belt pulley for mower and implement pulley for big belt implements. Flathead 4 cylinder 18 hp at the crank 16 at the belt pulley, non synchronized 4 speed non-live PTO. Still has original 6 volt system. It is 200 miles from us in Phoenixville. PA owned by a guy who has a tractor and antique construction equipment collection/ museum at his home. $2500
Since it is classified as a farm tractor I can write it off my taxes... I am looking forward to spending way less time cutting grass when we are busy in hay season....Plus I think its cool...

Home away from home, also known as the Rolling Hilton!

Truck sits nice and level thanks to load distributing hitch (w/sway control)

Image

28'7" and only 4600lbs. I'm very pleased with the way my Silverado handles it!

Image

I'm hoping that with the tailgate removed, the back platform of the golf cart will be above the tongue jack and bottles...

Image

Yes, it matches the truck...

We're going on our first outing "roughing it" this weekend! Hopefully it may be spotted in the infield of Daytona for a race or two in the future...

Travel trailers are Great!

Drag that thing all over Hell and Creation

We bought one in 2012 brandy new.
I was always ambivalent about them.
My wife however, had always lusted in her heart for one.
I own F350's - plural

So I call up a buddy who does the camper sales thing, asking about used trailers ( I fix his cars ).
It's Feb so the new units are rolling in for the season kick off.
He tells me any used travel trailer would be $5K C+C
We found a couple we liked and I figured I'd do the money stuff the following week.

So, while we're there -----------------------------

Carolyn say's "Lets look at new ones"
My buddy say's "here's master keys that fit everything on the lot".
We had a great time going in and out of every camper on the lot. Our own private RV show.

My first mistake was saying "This one looks pretty nice"

Her ears perked and her eyes flashed and with her smile she say's, you like it?
And I did, it has heat, ac, tunes, fridge, stove, sh!tter, shower, bunk beds in the back, queen in the front, ect. The bunk beds hold my rifles when we travel to matches.
She beat my buddy down 8K and wrote him a check.
We have over 40K miles on it.
I did however mod the suspension, and the electrical, and well stuff.

Your going to love it!

Craig
