i think they are called "skiffs" in the UK.

i googled skiff and the 3rd search down was bizarre beyond belief.

You're a lot more British than I am :) but I think even in England they're shells or sculls when they're so long and narrow that they like to tip over if you're not careful. I'm open to learning though. :D Did you know that if you fail to get an oar out of the water cleanly when you're up to speed, it's likely to shove its handle into you and throw you out of the boat? That's one of the things I learned my first time out. If my wife had caught that on video, I would have posted it. A little one is "catching a crab" and when it throws you out, it's an "ejector crab".

What was bizarre? When I searched "skiff" the 3rd result was just a dictionary definition "small boat" sort of thing. You can put "ejector crab" into the YouTube search box and find some pretty funny videos.

Sculls/sculling is just the rowing part, sculling means one person 2 oars/sculls, a skiff is a sale boat, 12ft/16ft and 18ft skiffs.

Google 18 footers ;)

not at all, my helmet before wasan Arai with Kenny Roberts junior also black and yellow with different scheme (bought new on ... 2006!).
So still loving Black and yellow and like the idea after the son the father.
Have seen the both on GP races (peculiary on Le Mans track GP de France but not the same year :D ) and must say the father was more impressive

ALDI leather, pants and jacket, oh and a Ventura gear rack from a motorcycle swap meet in Goulburn, $10

I'm fabbing up some brackets so I can fit it to the H2.

Nice!
I'm about to start refurbishing one for a friend of mine.
We just received a new exhaust, tires, grips, levers, and other stuff.
Neat little bikes.
