7x18 no problem. We have pulled a 30' toy hauler through the gap. Take your time and do your best to keep your stuff on your side of the lines.

My son tows a 20ft enclosed car hauler trailer behind a GMC 2500 HD. We tow thru the Dragon with no trouble. We do not stay at the resort. It can be a challenge parking at some of the places we have stayed.

We have in the past stayed at Fontana Village but I believe the Mini Pooper group is there during our week. Last year we rented a house thru VRBO.com and it was much cheaper. Even the rental houses can have limited access and parking. There is camping at the resort and other sites if your into camping. I use to park a 14ft open trailer at the resort. If you get there on Sunday evening you should able to park the trailer.

I think that's what I'm going to do.

Fontana has a trailer parking space but the Minis use some of it for car washing. As Evan said, the VRBO route is the way to go compared to Fontana. Before you rent ask the owner if you can make it with a trailer, and ask if he has any pics of the driveway. Last year we rented a VRBO and the guy told me he pulls his 24 foot boat to the house. That was total BS. He was an absentee owner in Florida and the Care Taker laughed when I told him that. We blew the tire on one trailer trying to make a turn in what was a hellacious driveway and a royal biatch overall. If anyone is interested the name of that property was "Big Swag Lodge" a nice place if you are going with a small 3 bike open trailer but a PITA bringing 2 - 18 foot enclosed trailers. This is the mountains so driveways can be tough, I definitely would want 4 wheel drive. We had to tow LIRuss and his 2 wheel drive van up and out a driveway one year.

If that's the mini-cooper week, I may opt out. Those assholes are dangerous, and I don't want to face them in a blind corner.
