How many have used the repo switches .are close to originals 72 H2

I haven't used them, but I've held them in my hands and they are not awesome quality. The switches don't fit flush to the housing and the whole casting is rather poor.

I didn't mean to "kill" the idea - for a rider and if you have no other option, I would say they're fine. But for a decent resto, you'd be better off restoring an OEM piece. I had an idea of stripping one down for the wiring and switches and mounting it on the restored OEM housing....but I'm too lazy.

If they are not scarred or have bad gouges and marks, restore the ones you have.
Strip them and polish them up and repaint where needed.
All the inner parts can be repaired or cleaned up.

Thank you for the info . Looking for short cuts :D trying to finish bike for Deals Gap I have cancer and this is the last chance I got to make :| may have to buy one but I am going.
