The WWII connection to these Jap motorcycles is the only big downer in the hobby , its real and some folks do bring up the history every so often :?

I think Honda actually started out making piston rings. And of course Kawasaki was a ship builder first and bought the aircraft company.

Krups too. So did all of our factories. The BMW radial in WW2 had a life expectancy of 5 hours between overhaul or change. Glad their bikes are better now.
