Yep. Someone pulled out in front of me this morning and I went down. Luckily I was wearing a good bit of padding and only wound up with a chafe mark on the leg. Bike didn't fair as well. Lost an NOS headlight ear, NOS shifter, headlight bucket, handlebars and two turn signals. Bent the rear turn signal mount as well. The bike is drivable at least so I'm hoping to milk it along until this winter and will do the work then.

Looks to be about 300 in damage for replacement items. I'll be posting in the wanted section for some parts. Hopefully someone will be able to help me source some replacements.

Find a really sharp lawyer and recover enuff in damages and pain/suffering to make up for the loss of all the NOS parts.

Glad you are OK.

Somebody could not see or hear a Kaw triple coming ??

Sorry to hear about your crash and happy that you walked away. We can help you find triple parts but we can't always put you back together again. You might want to see a doctor and a lawyer to be on the safe side.

Yea I'm all good here. The scrape on my leg came from the pants brushing it.

I got a call into his insurance company now and rolling on the claim. 4 guys from Massey witnessed it and they said they'd give statements no problem. Adjuster is supposed to hit me up within 1 day to sort the claim. I can't ding on the guy that hit me. That intersection has had an accident history with the way it's set up and with the car turning right, I was just behind it enough that the whole bike couldn't be seen until I came out from behind it. The boy was young and was generally concerned about me, he was unsure of exactly what to do. We're all on board.

Now that I got your attention  I'm in need of a few replacement parts. I'll be needing.....

NOS shifter
NOS left fork ear
Headlight bucket
Handlebars
Left turn signals
New points cover

Looking for who's got what at what price right now till the claim is paid, then I'll buy them. Doesn't hurt either to see how much this will all cost me so I know what to negotiate with the adjuster.

Notice I don't need exhaust? So that's what that big peg on the center stand is for.
