Is there anyone that has or sells a motor fastener kit? Maybe they have a list of fasteners? I am looking to replace a lot of the screws with allens, etc...might upgrade a lot of the stuff to stainless. I have done a bit of searching on the forum and sort of came up empty. I remember eons ago someone put a kit together on the old forum.

I don't mind figuring things out, and putting a list together...just don't want to reinvent the wheel, and if a list is lacking I will work to get one going 8-)

While I'm at it, is the Sudco motor/case seal kit still the one to go with?

If you can work with spreadsheets the easiest way to compile a fastener list would be to download the spreadsheet at http://kawatriple.com/files/parts.xls or http://kawtriple.com/mraxl/files/parts.xls
It contains parts for all Triples. You can remove what you don't want and sort the data anyway you want.
The latest version is at Kawatriple.com but at the moment it may not be accessible.

Thanks for the links fellas. Though i am restoring the bike I'm not going purist....oem etc. I would like to incorporate some minor upgrades...Allen head cover bolts....stainless where it makes...and in some cases leave the original stock stuff where it makes sense to.

Gonna take the fam to red robin tonight for root beer floats and fries...then out to see what fasteners i have to start.

Shifting gears a bit...i bought all of the seals gaskets etc from Fast From The Past this afternoon. As usual Jim Hinshaw is on the ball...great service...prompt replies to questions. I can't wait till they arrive.

Ended up ordering a set of the Stainless Allenhead/SHCS's for the case covers, as well as a new nut & lock nut set for the crankcase studs. Appreciate the links...don't know why I didnt think to check ebay. Probably because I know myself...the more ya look, the lighter the pockets get

...waiting for parts is the worst.

There is one thing worse...after the waiting when they show up and there wrong!

Just ordered sprockets for a SlowZuki project, all part numbers were good but the sprocket had the wrong spine.... who knows

Good fortune on your project!
