Not moving as quickly as I wanted but do want to keep you guys posted. So many hours spent and will be many more to go. Trying to reuse as many original parts as possible but some parts are just shot. Only fork ears are NOS so far. Plan to have it done before Winter comes.

Nice work, motor looks fantastic. What process did you use on the cases? I'm also in the slow process of a H2 [B] assembly... |

In order to make the engine looks good, everything must be taken apart. The cases were split, removed all greasy dirt by detergent and scraping, bead blasted then steel wool to bring back a little shine. Little parts are pain in the A S S as well but the joy of completing one stage at-a-time is worth keep going. |

I am still debating about restoring the original master cylinder and caliper but I do have a complete NOS dual brake kit that's taunting me to use it. The NOS kit includes lines, dual line splitter, 2 rotors and LH & RH calipers. I've been saving it for many years for the right time to use it so is this the right time? Like to hear what option you guys would pick? |

If you're going to ride it much, I'd go with a single disk and an EX caliper. I just took the stock dual disk setup off my H2 that's been on it for 37 years and went to the single EX system with a 1/2" master cylinder. The braking has a much better feel and the weight difference is more than ten pounds! |

I like my single EX caliper on my H2c, but if your preference is to retain that factory look, then I'd go ahead and mount up that super rare dual disc set-up. |
