Just got an email from Jess' wife

Jess is in the hospital has diverticulitis. Might need surgery.

I'll update when I find out more

Thoughts go out to Jess and the family.
Diverticulitis where it is not usually life threatening if treated, can be a curse as far as pain goes.
Intestants get a soft spot and a pocket is formed where roughage can get stuck.
OUCH

My wife is a G.I. nurse (not army G.I.) and see this often. It is very treatable so keep positive. Get well soon Jess.
