I just got an email from PB that said they noticed I've been using it for third party hosting, and they're going to cut me off, I need to pay $400, etc.. I doubt if my reply will go anywhere other than the bitbucket, but I replied simply "Piss off."

If on the very unlikely chance that anyone reads a thread that I've posted a photo on, and it's missing, and you want to see it, just email me and I'll repost the photo. I have all the originals. I don't have any delusions that anything I've posted is that important though.

out of order for me too but have still the pictures on my computers.

I really hate the idea of having to go back thru all my threads on this and every other forum I am on to re-post pics.
This really sucks but I guess there is no such thing as a free lunch.

I created a Photobucket account 10 years ago specifically for posting pictures on triple forums, it's pretty much the only reason I opened the account.
There are now 1800 photos that I've posted over the years and it would be a full time job to update 10 years of posts... it simply will never happen.

That is the worst thing about all this, there are many good threads showing great restoration processes that will now not have pics.

I just wish PB would be reasonable about this, how 'bout $100 a year?

Just a random thought, but (presumably) we have backed up all this stuff, and can "revitalise" the Forum into the future..... I mean , I miss the old Tomcat forum, but it IS what got me into pulling a pile of rusty parts into the centre of the shed, (and maybe not much more!!), and staying optimistic with all of this............... The future awaits!! (bit busy A.T.M.!)

I'm sort of new here, but have been posting all my pics on here, guessing they are stored on this server or this account? I only post max size of 640 by 480 or it refuses them. Will they disappear now or?

Ya this does suck all mine are on Photobucket and I have no intention of trying to repost anything on this or any form I am on...I guess I haven't been around long so no huge loss from mine BUT LOTS of good info from many will be lost!
Wish I could use a few choice words here right now!

I have switched to Flickr. Not an easy task, but I will go back to my H2 assembly thread and repost the photos. I have already started on the Honda forum, my CB750 "Park Racer" that was recently restored...
